Cars and Trucks

Thursday, May 12 was our next Legos @ your library event!  Our theme was "Cars and Trucks".  We held it after school from 3:30-5.  A few had attended our first event, but there were lots of new kids who came!  We had another great crowd--75 people!!

The program began with reading aloud "If I Built a Car" by Chris Van Dusen

The kids seemed to enjoy this creative and funny book.

We then got out the six tubs of Legos, including a new set of wheels and the kids went to work building their own cars (and other creations) out of Legos!  This is one of the books that was added to our collection:
Here are a few cars that were built...

This is an animoto movie with all the pictures from the event.
