Legos @ your library Rules

These are the rules that will be posted as patrons come into the meeting room.
  • Children must be at least 4 years old to participate in Legos @ your library.
  • Parents are welcome to stay and build with their child(ren).
  • Legos are for building – abuse of the bricks, such as throwing, chewing on, or breaking is not allowed.
  • Legos must be shared with one another.
  • All Legos must remain in the large meeting room.
  • Respect one another’s work – do not destroy anyone else’s creation.
  • Your creation must be taken apart and the Legos put back into the storage bins before you leave.
  • Patrons who do not follow the Legos @ your library rules may beasked to leave the program.
I have the age limit due to the choking hazard.  I worry about Legos (especially the minifigures) "walking away".  I will encourage kids to "check their pockets" as they leave...just in case something happened to fall into them.  :-)
