Toady I opened all the Lego we purchased and dumped them into these six "tubs". I got these tubs from Lego Education when I bought the Legos. I purchased four and two sets came in the other two tubs. These are great containers to store Legos in because the lid snaps on tight and they stack very nicely. As you can see from the other picture they are only about half way full...which will hopefully be beneficial in finding the pieces you need! I think we have a great variety of Lego pieces (sizes, colors, etc)! The wheel set will be added next month when our theme is "Cars and Trucks" and the windows and door set will be added to the bins in June when we begin our "Architecture of the World".
I found these instructions from Family Fun for building some cute Lego creations (for those kids who want/need a little more direction). I printed out some of them (two per page), laminated them, then put sets together with a ring. Kids will be able to use them during club time.
